Problem

Dept had a project based approach to capability development, resulting in high levels of fragmentation and siloed solutions. Organisational capability was being inadvertently eroded and suboptimised.

Solution

Potenture established a capability-based planning approach and associated portfolio investment strategies to align investment to area of priority. To build organisational capability and capacity in transitioning to capability planning, Potenture designed the key supporting systems and processes to enable capability design and realisation and mentored internal teams to fast track uplifting of skills.

Outcome

Dept was able to address capability gaps and associated risks to bring about greater overall organisational capability and capacity. Performance across key enterprise value streams was improved and the means to achieve this in a sustainable manner was established.
